How to Dress for your Interview >> Home

We have all heard the expression, you have only one chance to make a good first impression. One of the main purposes of an interview is to present yourself to a potential employer in a manner that reflects a highly polished and professional image. The first judgment an interviewer makes is going to be based on how you look and what you are wearing. You will want that first impression to be not just a good one, but, a great one, so here is few tips for you:

Men's Interview Outfit
Long sleeve shirt (white or coordinated with the suit)
Belt
Tie
Dark socks, traditional leather shoes
Neat, professional hairstyle
Limit the aftershave
Neatly trimmed nails

Women's Interview Outfit
Coordinated blouse
Conservative shoes
Limited jewelry (no dangling earrings or arms full of bracelets)
Light make-up and perfume
Neatly manicured clean nails

Note:
Get your clothes ready the night before, so you don't have to spend time getting them ready on the day of the interview.
Bring a breath mint and use it before you enter the building.
